Ihlara Valley is approximately 1.5 hours away from Nevşehir's districts.
If your hotel is in one of the districts of Ürgüp, Göreme, Uçhisar or Avanos, it will not be possible to go to Ihlara Valley by your own means without a car. There are two options left: The first is to go by car or by taking a taxi, which will be very costly, and the second is to join a tour. This option is mostly preferred by people visiting this place.

After your breakfast, after being picked up from your hotel at 9 am, we will set off towards the Aksaray province border for our first stop. On the way, Kaymaklı Underground City, the largest and deepest underground city of Cappadocia, will be our first stop.
You will be very surprised as your guide tells you the story of the places where thousands of people lived, which were excavated during the Hittite period and actively used during the Roman Empire.
After our tour of the Underground City is over, we set off again for the Ihlara Valley. After our captain leaves us at the beginning of the valley, we go down to walk in the largest and deepest valley of Cappadocia, using approximately 350 stairs.
After walking for an hour, we reach Belisırma Village in the middle of the valley. Here we have lunch in a nice restaurant on the Melendiz River.
After lunch, we will reach Selime Monastery and visit it. Together, we will listen to our guide about how monastic life was, where it was founded, what was taught and living conditions.
After this stop, we return to Uçhisar district of Nevşehir for our last stop. Since the Roman period, the breeding of the pigeon has been very much, you can see the houses of the pigeon all over the region. The place where you can see this most intensely and take great photos is Pigeon Valley.
As the last stop, we will stop by a handicraft center where you will get to know the volcanic structure of Cappadocia closely and see the unique examples of volcanic stones extracted and processed.
After the explanations and shopping here, we will drop you off at your hotel.
